Historical discoveries draw on BnF historical scholarship. Historical and educational review is ongoing.
Book-to-digital connection: This adventure complements the Discovery & Coloring Companion. The STORY, COLOR, CHOICE, and TRUTH learning pillars guide the collection; the digital experience currently emphasizes observation, choices, and historical sequence. Coloring remains a book activity.
Behind the story: Our young characters are imaginative illustrations, not documented childhood portraits. Pictures of Toussaint as a child are reconstructions, not known portraits. The Haitian Revolution was a collective struggle, and Haiti declared independence in 1804.
